Frequently asked questions

Corporate fitness with OneFit

Why OneFit?

With just one membership, your employees can take advantage of the Netherlands’ most flexible and diverse sports offer. They will have access to over 1,000 sports and wellness partners, more than 50 sports on-site and a selection of approximately 5,000 online classes. So not only can you support your employees’ vitality, you can also provide a great corporate benefit for your existing team and attract future talent.

What are the differences between the membership plans?

Our business membership plans offer different check-in amounts. The Start membership offers 4 check-ins per month. The Original membership plan - with 16 check-ins per month - is the most popular and most widely used.

What are the differences between a business membership and a private one?

With a business membership plan, employees will benefit from a discounted membership fee and tax benefits, thanks to the employer contribution. With our Original membership, employees can also benefit from more monthly check-ins compared to the consumer price (16 check-ins v.s. 10.)

With corporate fitness as a benefit, you will not only make a positive contribution to employee vitality but also to the employer branding of your company.

How OneFit corporate fitness works

What happens after finalizing all the steps on the website?

After successfully completing the steps on our website, you will receive an email that serves as a cooperation agreement. We then ask for additional information in a second email. With this information, we create a link to a unique registration page with your company logo.

On the company's registration page, your employees can sign up for their desired membership plan (Start or Original). Using the OneFit app, employees can select their sport or activity and check in directly at the partner venue, on-site and online.

Will I receive a contract that needs to be signed after submitting the form?

No, no contract needs to be signed. After submitting the form you will receive a confirmation email from us which serves as a cooperation agreement.

When can we start offering corporate fitness?

Our cooperation agreement starts on the selected date your company chooses. This is always on the first of the month. As soon as the personalized registration page has been set up for your employees to sign up, you can share this page internally.

How can employees sign up?

After receiving the confirmation email from us, the company's contact person will receive an email with the link to the personalized registration page with your company logo and the registration form for employees. On this page, employees can sign up and choose the membership.

Which OneFit membership do my employees get?

The employee can choose between the business membership Start and Original. The membership can be changed or canceled every month.

How do I know who signed up for a membership?

Every month before the 15th, OneFit sends an invoice specifying the registered employees and the employees who started between the 11th of last month and the 10th of the current month.

What happens when an employee quits or starts a new job?

When an employee leaves the company, they must be deregistered as a OneFit member by our customer service. This can be done by sending an email to business.members.nl@one.fit. Please note that the notice period is 10 days before the end of the current membership period. If we are notified too late, the next period will be billed.

A new colleague can be easily registered using the company registration link you will receive from OneFit.

Do employees have to choose a city or specific sports studios?

Upon registration, an employee must choose a preferred city. However, every OneFit member can use our entire offer throughout the Netherlands. Your employees can do sports elsewhere every day and choose between 50+ sports categories at more than 1,000 locations.

How can I find out if OneFit has partners in our region(s)?

You can check out the OneFit website to see which offers are available in your region.

Please note that an area may appear under the name of the nearby city (e.g. Het Gooi will be listed as Amsterdam, And Capelle as Rotterdam.)

How easy is it for our employees to transition between offline and online classes?

Employees can seamlessly choose between both online and on-site venues. The entire offer of our locations and workouts can be found in our app.

How can employees cancel their business membership?

Employees can cancel their membership independently via their account. The notice period is ten days before the end of the current billing period.

An employee already has OneFit. How can this be converted to a business membership?

Our customer service can transfer the membership for the next membership period of the employee. To do this, these steps must be followed: https://help.one.fit/hc/en-us/articles/360013896840

Prices and conditions

What are the costs and how are they calculated?

The costs vary individually depending on the agreement. There are two options:

1. Gross/net scheme: there is no employer contribution. The employer simply deducts the membership costs from the employee's salary. This gives employees a tax benefit.

2. Contribution: the company pays a fixed contribution for each registered (non-paused) employee. In most cases, employees also pay a portion of their membership, unless the company opts to cover the entire cost.

Do we have to pay a contribution for all employees?

No, with the contribution option, you only need to make a payment for employees who subscribe to a membership and have it active, meaning it's not on pause.

If you opt for option 1, the 'Gross/Net scheme,' the employer won't incur any expenses since the costs are deducted directly from the employee's gross salary.

Can employees also pay for the business membership all on their own?

Yes, if the employer has opted for the gross/net option to provide OneFit memberships, the membership fees can be directly deducted from the employees' gross salary. This means the employer won't bear the cost directly. Instead, the company will receive an invoice, which it is responsible for settling. The amount can later be recouped from the employee through their payslip.

Are the costs tax deductible?

With the gross/net option, the cost for a membership is paid via the gross salary, and there are no costs for the employer. This way, there is a tax benefit for the employee. With the contribution option (split payment), the employer pays (a part of) the membership. This is not tax deductible.

Please note that the costs of sports memberships always fall within the work-related costs scheme (werkkostenregeling/WKR.)

What payment options are available?

Invoices have to be paid by the company by bank transfer. In the case of a split payment, employees will pay their share directly to OneFit by direct debit.

What is the notice period for companies?

A contract is concluded for a minimum of twelve months. There is a notice period of three months before the end of the contract. If the contract is not terminated, it will be automatically extended for twelve months.

Can employees change their membership plan?

Yes, upgrades and downgrades (e.g. changing between Start and Original or pausing their membership) are possible with ten days' notice before the end of the current billing period. This gives employees the opportunity to test different membership plans and find the right one for them.

Do all employees have to register or is there a minimum number of registrations?

No. Not all employees have to register and there is no minimum number of employees that have to register.

Can I adjust the employer contribution during the twelve-month agreement period?

Yes, this is possible. An addendum will be drawn up to the agreement. However, there will always be a minimum contribution of €10.

Partner venues and online offer

Which partner venues can my employees visit?

All employees with a OneFit membership can visit over 1,000 partner locations and choose between 50+ sports categories in the Netherlands. The amount of check-ins they can do depends on the membership plan they are on. All partner locations and sports can be filtered via our location search.

How do I find out which sports are available near our offices?

You can use our location search to directly see all partner venues and sports near the company.

What about employees who don't have any partner venues near their homes?

With our diverse online offer, members can get active wherever they are. We also welcome suggestions for new partners in order to continually expand our local offer.

I want to offer my employees access to a specific sports venue. How do I find out if this is part of the OneFit network?

To get this info, you can check out the sports offers in your region here. If your desired partner is not included, you can communicate this to your onboarding manager. We’re working hard to expand our offer even further in the future.

Can employees work out as often as they want?

With our business membership plans, members can check in 4 times per month with the Start membership and 16 times with our Original membership – including the online classes.

With the Start membership, there is a cap of 2 visits per partner location, and 4 times with the Original membership.

Can my company also only use the online offer?

Absolutely. Once an employee becomes a member, it’s up to them which sports they want to take part in. Both the online and on-site offers are available to all members.
